About me

Cesare Panizzi is an Italian pianist and composer from Parma. He began his musical journey at the age of six, passionately dedicating himself to studying the piano. Later, he was admitted to the "Arrigo Boito" Conservatory in Parma, where he earned his diploma in classical piano in 2019.

He continued his musical studies in the United States at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, thanks to a full scholarship. There, he studied under the guidance of distinguished teachers such as NEA Jazz Master Joanne Brackeen, Billy Kilson, and Danilo Pérez, earning his degree in Music Performance in 2023.

After graduation, he moved to New York City, where he had the opportunity to perform in prestigious venues and collaborate with internationally renowned artists such as Eric Alexander, Rodney Green, Giuseppe Cucchiara, and Ben Solomon.

In June 2024, after returning to Italy, he won the prestigious Massimo Urbani Award for jazz soloists, one of the most important recognitions for Italian jazz. This led him to perform at major festivals such as "Il jazz italiano per le terre del sisma," "NovaraJazz," "Fano Jazz," and others.

On February 11, 2025, his debut trio album, It’s Been a Blessing, was released under the Emme Record Label, featuring Giuseppe Cucchiara on double bass and Gianluca Vescovini on drums.
